Installation
Centregreat has the in-house capability to deliver a full installation service including civils, traffic management & slot cutting. Our collaborative approach means we work closely with our clients to fully understand their needs and success criteria for any given project. As we are supplier agnostic, we look to source the best technology innovation for each site depending on the requirements and limitations.
Typical installations include:
- New controllers
- LV/ELV cabling
- Poles, RAGs & push button units
- Loop cutting
- Detection including AGD microwave/radar & Clearview magnetometers
- Testing & pre-commissioning
- Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)
- Relocation of existing controllers & poles
- Adding pedestrian access & cycle routes
- Interim loop installation

Maintenance
With the number of vehicles on our roads increasing, ageing assets and limited budgets, the effective maintenance of traffic signals and the associated technology is critical to the management of congestion. We work closely with our clients to ensure maximum asset availability and safety for all road users (vehicles, pedestrians, cyclists).
At present Centregreat maintains over 800 junction and pedestrian sites across Wales for the following clients:
- Gwent (5) Unitary Authorities
- Carmarthenshire / Pembrokeshire / SWTRA
- Vale of Glamorgan
- Rhondda Cynon Taff / Bridgend / Merthyr Tydfil
Our field engineering services team provide routine and reactive maintenance services 24/7; covering everything from detector faults to all-outs and everything in between.
