Ashton Avenue Swing Bridge, Bristol
Award winning project 2017
This Grade II listed structure was originally built in 1906 over the River Avon to improve the rail access link from the docks. The structure was later modified to suit pedestrians and cyclists and used as such until 2015 when it was closed for restoration to become part of the new Bristol Metrobus route (guided bus way).
Victoria Bridge, Bath
Balfour Beatty approached Centregreat to form part of their bid submission team for the project to reinstate the listed Victoria Bridge Structure in Bath back to its former glory.
Clevedon Pier, Bristol
Clevedon Pier was built in the Victorian heydey to receive paddle steamer passengers from Devon and Wales. This latest stage of the refurbishment included the repair and strengthening of pier trestles and tie bars.
RNLI slipways
Following a successful project with BAM Nuttall to manufacture, supply and install a new slipway for the RNLI TAMAR Lifeboat at RNLI Mumbles, further orders were secured for both RNLI Moelfre and RNLI Swanage.
